How to treat Cradle Cap?
Cradle cap is a common condition that affects many babies, and can cause redness, scaling, and greasy patches on the scalp. See here for more info on cradle cap.
To help treat cradle cap:
- Gently massage your baby's scalp with a soft-bristled natural hair brush to loosen the scales before a bath.
- Massage a small amount of Pepe Loxx Scalp Care Oil to the affected area, leave it on for up to an hour.
- Wash pēpi's hair with a gentle baby shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
- Repeat this process every few days until the cradle cap goes away.
It's important to note that cradle cap usually goes away within a few weeks or months, so only gentle attention and care should be required. Avoid picking or scratching at the flakes, as this can cause irritation and potentially lead to infection.
If the condition persists or becomes severe, you should consult with your healthcare professional.
